Under the influence of this years epidemic situation, the OIA of NUTN followed the regulations of the Ministry of Education. Although students are not prohibited from going abroad for exchange, the restrictions on entry and exit have successively affected various transnational exchange activities, including overseas studies, internships, internships and visits. Although the epidemic has slowed down in recent days, countries still have some control over border risk control. Considering that students are deterred from going abroad for exchanges and that the pace of international exchanges cannot be stopped due to the epidemic, the second foreign language Japanese course of our language center specially invited teachers and students of Tokyo University of Science in Japan to jointly hold two transnational video exchange activities on December 20th and December 23rd.

After the first exchange with Tokyo University of Science last year, which was highly praised by students, this activity was led by Mr. Ming Lany Zan (Zhuo Yu Xiu) of Tokyo University of Science, and Japanese students participated in this activity together again. Tokyo University of Science, founded in 1881, is currently the number one private science university in Japan. This video exchange takes "Daily Life" as the theme. After self-introduction, they share their daily life and campus life. Through thematic communication, learning Japanese and Chinese commonly used in daily conversation more effectively. Through this online exchange, students not only get to know new friends in Japan, but also learn more about different coping measures adopted by governments in education and various life levels in the two countries under the development of epidemic situation. Students from the two countries also share their online learning situation with each other. Although this years overseas exchange plan has changed due to the epidemic situation, the number of participants in the two video communication conferences was up to 55, which shows that although students cant actually communicate abroad under the epidemic situation, they are still eager to conduct cross-border exchanges through other means to make up for the regret that they cant study in Japan in person, so as to maintain their motivation to exchange with Japanese sister schools in person in the future.

Hu Jiasheng, Dean of the OIA of NUTN, said that this year, in addition to actively promoting the second foreign language course and maintaining communication with sister schools in other countries, the OIA of NUTN signed a memorandum of alliance agreement with 28 universities in Kagoshima, Miyazaki, Osaka and Chiba, Japan, and actively publicized our educational resources and characteristic departments through various online enrollment channels to meet the needs of professional talents cultivation in different countries, especially in the fields of education, art and environmental ecology colleges, so as to attract more.

Assistant Professor Wang Ziwen, Admissions Committee member of NUTN, said that under the influence of the epidemic situation, the international enrollment business of our university actively cooperated with the policies of the central government, quickly took stock of the information exchange between students at home and abroad, and gave students the greatest assistance in response to the matters announced by the central epidemic situation command center and the epidemic prevention regulations of foreign governments on studying abroad exchange. The school regularly holds lectures on overseas experience sharing and exchange of study abroad, and provides various precautions for NUTN students to apply for admission to foreign schools, so as to reduce the burden of students applying for exchange
