The screening of teachers burst with people at NUTN
{Power news reporter WU YU YU JIN / LIAN KAI FEI reported at NUTN} UMC after-school tutoring, National University of Tainan combine resource inside and outside the university to help pre-service teacher to join the screening of teacher. For the past 5 years, the center has total 380 of admissions for teachers. The result is really amazing. The center organized a series of courses and continuously conducted tutoring courses about elementary education, special education and English profession and online Q&A of teacher screening. Due to active participation, registration was fulfilled within 3 days. With the limited number of people who observed and learned in each course totally filled. University of Tainan indicated that they will do their best to assist pre-service teacher to prepare for the screening, hoping the screening grades can be shining this year.
NUTN indicated that the first course conduct the teaching demonstration and oral examination of elementary Chinese and math on march 20th. “The simulation of teaching demonstration and oral examination of strategic alliances of university and elementary school” and “The tips of retest of teacher screening and practice” were conducted in the morning and afternoon respectively. NUTN invited excellent alumni, who is now the principal of Tainan municipal Yongkang district Sancun Elementary school, as the representative of the counselor in order to combine reinforcement theory of pre-service teachers and practice. Three principals of elementary school HUANG ZHEN GONG, LI ZHEN HUI and XIE KAI LONG and three alumni teachers LI WAN YUAN ZHEN, LI LIANG YI and ZHENG YI TING were all invited to give pre-service teachers the teaching of practice and points.
NUTN indicated that the demonstrated pre-service teacher had to provide a lesson plan, curriculum vitae, making related teaching aids and self-introduction. The counselor gave immediate respond as pre-service teacher conducted the simulation of teaching demonstration and oral test right on site. Then, through the way of comprehensive group discussion, conversation towards each other and experience of sharing. Without doubts, it is really helpful for pre-service teachers to prepare the teacher screening in the future.
The president of Center for Teacher Education, National University of Tainan XU QI SUI indicated that teacher capacity building is a historical tradition at NUTN. NUTN actively combine resources outside the school and cooperate with elementary schools to provide pre-service teacher more information and career training in the hope of cultivating more great teachers.
NUTN indicated that the UMC cultural and educational foundation’s secretary-general SHI BI RU and the manager HE HUI PING confirmed the profession of cultivating teachers and pre-service teachers. Hoping that the education in Taiwan can have better development under public and private partnership.
