內容(Detail) NUTN United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) Tutorial Program Opening Ceremony, Planting the Hope of Education


NUTN cooperated with UMC Culture and Technology Foundation, carrying on the program, “Planting the hope of seeds - Tutorial program for children from disadvantaged families in Tainan”, held the opening ceremony of the second semester of 109 school year on the evening of March 8th. The tutors, students and volunteers were welcomed the learning journey of the new semester with love and friendship.


Director Chi-Sui Hsu (Tutorial Program host) was presented to encourage all teachers, students and volunteers of the center for the new semester, and personally delivered stationary warm packs to cheer for every schoolchild. During the opening ceremony, in order to enhance the friendship between teachers and students, the Student Counseling Center specially organized a “Hello! Who are you?” game, teachers and students of each class were divided into seats, and they could greet each other through the Q&A game. The center also prepared gifts so that the introducer and the answerer could have rewards in the game and get closer to each other. Then invited the first class assistant student Su-Hui Yun, who is currently studying in the Department of Information Engineering at NUTN, to share the experience of the class assistant and promote the protection of water resources. Finally, with the fun magic by teacher Kang-Zhi Kai (administrative assistant of the class assistant center), drew a happy end to the opening ceremony with laughter and joy.


Principal of NUTN, Tsung-Hsien Huang, appreciated UMC Culture and Technology Foundation, for the support to education. Public-private cooperation allows every student who hopes to learn happily and grow confidently. Director Chi-Sui Hsu indicated that NUTN Student Counseling Center would spare no effort to assist students from hopeful families in diversified learning, and provide education as well as practical training for teachers and students, hoped to cultivate more educational professionals for the country.


Pi-Ju Shih (UMC Culture and Technology Foundation Secretary-general) and Hui-Ping Ho (Manager) indicated every semester was the new beginning, they believed NUTN’s high-quality and professional teacher training manpower could accompany class-assisted students to grow and complete their learning goals, and teachers as well as volunteers could also grow up professionally and advance toward their educational goals.
