內容(Detail) NUTN held Global Elementary and Middle School Online Innovation Learning Model Observation and Competition-Ximen Experimental Elementary School, Tainan City and Wenshan High School, Kaohsiung City won awards


In order to strengthen the digital literacy of primary and secondary school students and improve their English proficiency, the Ministry of Education adopted the "Primary and Elementary School Digital Learning Promotion Program". The team of Professor Chi-hsien Lin from the Department of Digital Learning Technology of NUTN established the APEC Cyber Academy. Organized the " 2020 LINC Carnival", total of 98 teams with 658 primary and secondary school students from Malaysia, the Philippines, the United States, Vietnam, India, Japan, Ukraine, Hong Kong and Taiwan participated, and finally selected eight outstanding teams including four teams from the Philippines, two teams from India, and Kaohsiung Wenshan High School and Tainan Ximen Experimental Primary School from Taiwan.

This event is a ten-week full English course on the Internet platform. The four international online project-style cooperative learning courses used are all designed by primary and secondary schools from Taiwan, including "How to respond to climate change" by Ximen Experimental Primary School, Tainan City , "How to provide an insect-friendly environment" by Wenshan High School, Kaohsiung City, "How to build a sustainable environment with beneficial insects" by Weige High School, Taichung City, and "Gender Equality: Women in the Olympics" by Lujiang International Primary and Middle School, Changhua County. Not only showed Taiwans IT application capabilities but also deepened the international exchanges between primary schools and secondary schools as well as enhanced the degree of internationalization, allowing primary and secondary school students to connect with the world.
